After 16 months, sales of Gun Curious have been solid but haven’t reached the “I told you so” numbers I’d imagined sending to all of the many publishers who passed on it.
Even as I’m moving on to my next book project, I believe Gun Curious remains singular in what it offers. That singularity is part of what makes the book valuable—and, ironically, part of what made it a hard sell.
The book remains available on Amazon, Bookshop.org, and elsewhere—including eBook and audiobook versions. But I’m also shifting toward direct sales, which means personally signed copies for anyone interested. Please be in touch if you’d like to buy copies for yourself, a friend, a state legislator, a local activist, or a loved one at $25 (tax and shipping included). If you’re interested in buying bulk copies, a considerable discount is available.
And if you care enough to have read this far, please consider leaving a review of the book on Amazon or Goodreads if you haven’t already. The algorithm is real.
